Partner flashes hand signals; you react with footwork. 30 reps.
Your job today
Partner shows a hand signal — left, right, up, down. You move that way as fast as you can. No guessing.
What good looks like: Get 24 of 30 right with no anticipation steps.
Why it matters: Quick first move beats top speed every time. This is the same skill that turns singles into outs.
How it works
Partner stands 6ft away and flashes hand signal (left/right/up/down). Athlete reacts with corresponding footwork: shuffle, drop-step, or jump. Measures reaction time and accuracy.
